Florian’s most constant home is probably the circus. Despite circus actually being inconstancy par excellence. Circumstances change day by day and yet somehow everything stays the same. A life on the move to inspire others. A home away from home, without ever arriving. "Wilt and Shine" is a soul-stirring exploration of home, a powerful acrobatic solo and a deeply touching personal story interwoven with a shimmering electro-acoustic live soundtrack. Breathtakingly blending elements from acrobatics, dance, music, and theater “WILT and shine” asks about the meaning of home and promises not just an artistic spectacle but also a profound commentary on finding one's place in a world that never stops moving. Florian Zumkehr is circus artist, producer and musician and has been touring the world for over 14 years. He performed with his company Analog at the BCF in 2017 and was celebrated with standing ovations. With an authentic mix of dynamic acrobatics, acting and live music, the Berliner-by-choice has created a unique style. |
