"La Boule" invites you into an intimate, mesmerizing journey of continuous movement. Kim and Liam present a tangled mass of bodies attempting to navigate forward in a relentless quest for motion. Their performance is an exploration of interconnectedness, where each movement is a delicate balance between dependency and autonomy. As they move, they form a single entity—a 120kg mass that is constantly shifting, creating a unique form of dialogue without words. It is an intimate relay where one rests while the other gathers the strength to propel them forward. "La Boule” offers a playful, joyful and ultimately deeply engaging circus experience where the simplicity and complexity of movement speak volumes, inviting you to contemplate the bonds that define and drive us. Kim Marro and Liam Lelarge are the creative force behind "La Boule." Kim integrates her expertise in Cyr Wheel and costume design into her performances, while Liam explores innovative forms of trapeze. Both have contributed to various productions and share a commitment to pushing the boundaries of circus arts and are continuing to evolve their unique blend of performance and visual storytelling with their first creation “La Boule”. |
