Open Stage 2016

For one month we gave artists from the whole world the possibility to apply for the Open Stage at the Berlin Circus Festival. Graduates of all major schools use this opportunity to perform for the first time in Germany and present their work. From unbelievable 250 applications we chose 13 modern, innovative and impressive acts:

• Trapeze: Domi Joannon (CHIL)
• Pole Dance: Miglena Miauchieva (ROM)
• Diabolo: Guillaume Karpowicz (FR)
• Chinese Pole: Theo Legros-Lefeuvre (FR)
• Juggling: Matthias Buhrow (DE)
• Double rope: Rosa Schmid (SUI/FR)
• Dance acrobatics: Emile Pinault (CAN)
• Partner acrobatics/dance: Leonie Foltys & Christin (DE)
• Club juggling: Guillermo Leon de Keijzer & Onni Toivonen (MEX - FIN)
• Aerial hoop: Thula Moon Martin (CAN)
• Host: Matthias Romur (DE)
