This tragi-comedy is set against a backdrop of what might be called suicidal acrobatics, where death is no longer a surprise but a carefully expected guest, played with and explored in a thousand ways. "Masacrade” is a hilarious show that doesn't take itself too serious, is humorous yet poignantly deep, that intertwines high-flying acrobatics and theatrical flair. Since their foundation in 2013, Marcel et ses drôles de femmes have incorporated circus and mischievous chaos into their narrative performances. "Masacrade" continues this tradition. The Marcels were already part of the first edition at Tempelhofer Feld and are now back with their new creation to thrill the audience once again. |
