based on kimberly "yes person"in creation
Yes Person is a circus show that celebrates ideas too peculiar to live—but too fabulous to die. Inspired by the concept of "killing one’s darlings," the creative process of discarding beloved but unfit ideas, this performance breathes new life into those very darlings.

Yes Person. Quintessential new wave, new wonk circus. Experimental, physical, fashionable, and satirical work by Inka and Imogen.’ Yes Person is a circus show that celebrates ideas too peculiar to live—but too fabulous to die. Inspired by the concept of "killing one’s darlings," the creative process of discarding beloved but unfit ideas, this performance breathes new life into those very darlings. Embracing the rule of ‘yes-saying’ in devising quickly leads to an expansive wasteland of ideas. From the dregs of their old creative processes—the sediment of ideas left behind, too mismatched, ambitious, or nonsensical to fit into past creations—comes a performance that gives these discarded concepts a second chance to flourish, expand, and spiral out of control. Type: For everyone Stage: 7 x 7, min. 5 m height One rigging point Set up time: 6H Tear down: 2H Travelling team: 3 people The show fits in 5 suitcases |
