Circus thrives on community and mutual support. Putting up a circus tent alone is almost impossible. But in a group, with combined forces, it almost builds itself. The Berlin Circus Festival could not exist in its current form either - without all the people who work here, perform, visit the festival and, above all, without the many, many volunteers who support it with their commitment.
The soul of the festival - this unique togetherness that arises once a year - combines the wonderful art form of contemporary circus with a lively sense of community. None of this would be possible without the tireless support of so many people.
