"RAGE" is a happening and a gathering that takes the form of a cabaret-style evening, created uniquely for Berlin Circus Festival For this edition, Stockholm-based RAGE collective brings together Berlin-Based performers to forge a unique intersection of circus, performance, activism, and craft. At its core, RAGE offers a space where anger is not silenced, grief is not hidden, and hope is treated as a muscle to be trained through engagement. Seeing the current state of the world is exhausting and infuriating, yet together we explore how anger can transform into something more than destruction. How can rage become a force for movement, solidarity, and hope? How can grief become a shared space rather than a private burden? Like a volcano bubbling under the surface, RAGE has the power to create new soil. By gathering, sharing, moving, and making, the collective and their collaborators invite the audience to process emotions and unite under a tent, turning their rage into power. The RAGE collective is formed by Stockholm-based circus artists Mirja Jauhiainen, Aino Ihanainen and Sarah Lett. The extensive experience of three artists (Cirque du Soleil, Cirkus Cirkör, Galapiat Cirque and more) comes together in this unique project and creates an unforgettable evening. |
