Take a deep, long breath. In "Naïade", four artists blend partner acrobatics and freediving into a literally breath-taking symphony of suspended movement. Inside a transparent aquarium, they move with fluidity and intensity, transforming acrobatics into something unfamiliar: slow, soft, suspended yet powerful. With and against the currents, they test the delicate balance between control and surrender. "Naïade" is a quiet celebration of life and an ode to water, the element that surrounds and sustains us. Through a unique choreography that explores the possibilities of the submerged body, the performance becomes an unforgettable experience: meditative, physical and quietly disarming. Following their first creation, Out of the Blue continues to explore the possibilities of the submerged body. With "Naïade", they move towards a more choreographic and distilled form, refining a singular approach to circus that operates from within: breath-led, risk-aware and guided by the principles of fluid motion. Their work stands apart for its clarity and commitment, and we are delighted to welcome this truly singular performance to Berlin. |
