“Korobka” is a raw and poetic portrait of partnership—on stage, in life, and in the quiet spaces in between. With subtle humor, tenderness and honesty, Swedish duo Henrik and Louise, embark on a Sisyphean journey of acrobatic repetition, exploring the clash between everyday life and the artistic process. “Ingmar Bergman’s Scenes from a Marriage—the acrobatic version.” At once deeply personal and universally resonant, “Korobka” is not about perfection, but about presence. With acrobatics, video art, soundscapes, and shared breath, the performance tells a story of partnership as parents, creators and artists. After two decades of collaboration and performances across the globe—from China to Brazil, from Paris to Vienna—the duo distills their journey into this poignant performance. Trained in Stockholm and Moscow, and having co-founded Sweden’s legendary Cirkus Cirkör, Henrik and Louise bring their singular blend of circus, dance, theatre, and film to a new height of emotional clarity. |
