société protectrice de petites idées "heavy motors" (fr)8.8. – 9.8.2025 I 9.00 pm
10.8.2025 I 8.30 pm The secret audience favourites of "Cow Love" are back – bigger, louder and wilder:
“Heavy Motors” is a turbo-charged dance of absurdity, where a tiny car becomes the star of the show—and of course: nothing goes according to plan. |
Length: 60 minutes From age of 7 Language: No language |
Armed with glitter bum bags, neon tracksuit and rhythmic gym ribbons, three extravagant misfits enter the stage with all the attitude and none of the horsepower. They dive with all their might headfirst into a world of choreographed mishaps, tragic beauty and motorized poetry. Like a fever dream from a retro car show, “Heavy Motors” celebrates the spectacular failure of making something work that simply won’t. With precise physical comedy and a taste for the ridiculous, the performers throw themselves into each new moment —frenzied, full of joy, and unstoppable. Nothing works. Everything is permitted. And somehow, it all makes perfect, wonderful sense. After their cult show “Cow Love”, Société Protectrice de Petites Idées returns to Berlin Circus Festival with their second creation that’s just as unhinged, just as heartfelt, and maybe even louder. With every wheelspin and wonky jump, “Heavy Motors” reclaims the stage for the kitsch, the chaotic, and the courageously clumsy. |
