Touch is an elementary sense for determining our place in the world. It creates trust, warmth, intimacy between us and tells us something not only about others, but also about ourselves and the world we live in. This basic human need has been pushed into the background; but it has not lost its importance. What happens when we no longer have any points of contact with each other? In the symbiosis of dance and acrobatics, the collective seeks and finds its artistic language, characterized by powerful sensitivity, intimacy and tension. Together they create touching scenes, whose impressive images they embed in a sparse scenography that reflects the coldness of a world lacking touch. "Cartography of contact" is a piece that tells a moving and warm story about what makes us human. Emerged from the Young Ensemble of Circus Schatzinsel, this year the Collective Zwischenraum was founded, with which they artistically explore the theme of touch. For the realization, the collective has gathered a new team around them, with which they want to shape their own artistic style. |
