Since 2024, the Berlin Circus Festival has been one of the main partners of the three-year Creative Europe project “Digital Soul Protocol”. The Digital Soul Protocol (DSP) is a project to develop a new Web3 protocol that enables circus artists, venues and festivals to form a token-based community together with their audience. In this way, spectators are transformed from consumers into active co-creators.
Within three years, the audience will become participants in dynamic artistic processes that connect them to a pan-European community. Artists will develop new digital skills and discover audience-oriented ways of financing, project development and realization. The project partners gain practical experience in co-designing key future technologies.
